Howto submit your site to Gemba

Important: Please note that Gemba will accept only .lk domains and other Sri Lanka related sites only.

1. Make sure Gemba doesn't already have your site indexed. Enter your domain name (e.g www.lanka-web.com) in to Gemba search engine and see if your site is listed.

2. For best quality, make sure your site contains proper title, keywords and description tags.

Title tag
This tag should describe the main subject of the web page. When choosing a title, try always to provide a meaningful, short introduction of the page. For an example, without having a generic title like "Introduction" in your page, try using something descriptive like "Introduction to meta tag based search".

Syntax: <title>Main subject of the page</title>

Description tag
Should be a short decription of the page being used. Do not try to describe the entire site within the description. Instead, describe the page with rich, short text.

Syntax: <meta name="description" content="Submit your web site to Gemba search engine and let thousands of web users visit it.">

Keywords tag
List words that are related to the page seperated by spaces. Do not overload your keywords tag with a broad verity of words. Instead, use related and most important set of words for the page. If your page is about selling web hosting, instead of using unrelated keywords like "web hosting banana apple", use related set of keywords like "linux web hosting providers". Always use keywords that someone might use to search for your page.

Syntax: <meta name="keywords" content="gemba sri lanka meta tag search engine">

3. Enter your site URL in the box below and hit submit button.
